Chubarov announces creation of Public Council on Crimea

MP Refat Chubarov has announced the creation of the Public Council on Crimea.

As Chubarov posted on his Facebook page, the Council was established by a number of non-governmental organizations representing Ukrainian citizens from different regions.

"Simultaneously, the representatives of NGOs, which initiated the creation of the Public Council on Crimea, held the action near the premises of the Permanent Mission of the President to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, located in the city of Kherson," Chubarov wrote.

He noted that the action participants had sent the appeal to the President of Ukraine, the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and the head of the Presidential Administration.

"In this appeal, the representatives of the non-governmental organizations point to the unsatisfactory work of the Permanent Mission of the President to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and urge to immediately take measures of response to the situation around a state structure which is directly subordinate to the President of Ukraine and which has been suspended from its duties," Chubarov wrote.
