Cyber attack on Ukrainian government and corporate networks halted

A large-scale cyber attack on corporate networks and networks of the government bodies in Ukraine, which occurred yesterday, June 27, has been halted.

This is reported by the Governmental portal.

"The situation is under complete control of the cyber security specialists, they are now working to restore the lost data," the Cabinet informs.

As noted, all the strategic enterprises, including those providing for state security, are operating as usual.

As reported, the websites of Kyivenergo, Ukrtelecom, Oschadbank, Sberbank, Ukrsotsbank, Ukrgasbank, OTP Bank and PrivatBank, Nova Poshta, Boryspil airport and a number of other large enterprises and institutions were paralysed by 'Petya' ransomware attack.
