Emine Dzhaparova says she is ready to assume post of Information Policy Minister

First Deputy Information Policy Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova says she is ready to head the ministry.

She stated this during Svoboda Slova talk show on ICTV, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"It seems to me that if the Parliament does vote for the resignation of Minister [Yuri Stets] and agrees with his proposal to vote for me as his successor, then probably I will have to bear this responsibility and move forward. .. I'm ready,” said Dzhaparova when asked whether she is ready to assume the post of Information Policy Minister.

The deputy minister noted that the relevant decision would be difficult for her for various reasons. However, in her opinion, as she was born in Crimea, it could help her to be effective in the process of reintegration of Crimea annexed by Russia.

Earlier, Information Policy Minister Yuri Stets said that he sees current First Deputy Minister Emine Dzhaparova as his successor.
