Parubiy offers to hold next session of NATO PA in Kyiv

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy, who takes part in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Spring Session in Georgia on May 29-30, has offered President of the NATO PA Paolo Alli to consider the possibility of holding one of the next sessions of the NATO PA in Kyiv.

"Andriy Parubiy has asked Paolo Alli to consider the possibility of holding of one of the next sessions of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Kyiv," the report says.

At the beginning of the tripartite meeting in the framework of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly session in Tbilisi with NATO PA President Paolo Alli and Georgian Parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine told about the course of military operations in Donbas, in particular, the increase of attacks on the Ukrainian positions by the Russian invaders, noting that Russia was accumulating weapons in Crimea.

As reported, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy pays a visit to Georgia on May 29-30 to attend the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Spring Session.
