US President Trump: Russia should be held accountable for its actions in Crimea and Donbas

US President Donald Trump has confirmed the country's position on the need to hold Russia accountable for its aggression in Ukraine.

Trump said this at the meeting with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni during his visit to Rome on Wednesday.

"President Trump reaffirmed transatlantic unity in holding Russia accountable for its actions in Crimea and eastern Ukraine, and noted the importance of convincing Russia to fulfill its commitments under the Minsk Agreements," the White House press office reports.
