Paris, Berlin to raise Minsk implementation issue at NATO Summit – Stoltenberg

France and Germany, as participants in the Normandy format, will raise the issue of the Minsk agreements implementation at the NATO summit.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this at a press conference on the eve of the NATO summit in Brussels on May 25, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"France and Germany, as participants in the Normandy format, will raise the issue of the Minsk agreements implementation at the NATO summit," the head of the Alliance said.

According to him, the main reason for NATO’s military strengthening on its eastern borders is the response to Russia's actions in Ukraine.

"We are concerned about the small progress and insufficiency of the implementation of the Minsk agreements. We see many violations of the ceasefire regime," the NATO Secretary General said.
