Normandy format: Poroshenko tells about signals from Paris, Berlin

The first signals from Paris and Berlin are quite promising, suggesting the Normandy format will remain in force.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this to journalists during his visit to Malta, the press service of the Head of State reports.

“My general foreign policy advisor Mr. Kostiantyn Yelisieiev keeps contact with the new diplomatic advisor to President Macron. And we are now working over preparation to the phone conversation. However, the first signals from Paris and Berlin are pretty promising and the functioning of the Normandy format will remain in force,” the Head of State noted answering the question about expectations from the new French President and the fate of the Normandy format.
