Ukraine should join EU’s cybersecurity strategy – Klimkin

Ukraine will be useful for implementing the cybersecurity strategy of the European Union.

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said this after the meeting with the foreign ministers of the EU member states on Monday in Brussels, an Ukrinform own correspondent reports.

"I suggested that Ukraine should become the part of the future cybersecurity strategy of the European Union," the Minister said.

Klimkin stressed that Ukraine has something to offer Europe.

"Our experience is much appreciated. The Estonian presidency [in the Council of the EU in the second half of the year] will make efforts to coordinate such a strategy in the next six months," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister said.
