Foreign ministers of Poland, Portugal discuss situation in eastern Ukraine

The foreign ministers of Poland and Portugal have discussed a wide range of issues in Warsaw, in particular, the situation in eastern Ukraine.

They said this at a press conference in Warsaw, an Ukrinform correspondent informs.

"We discussed the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, possible solutions to it, and problems for Europe from the south, the Middle East, and Africa," Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski said, adding that the talks touched on security issues and NATO.

In turn, Portuguese Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva has stressed that the relations between Poland and Portugal are very good.

"Poland is a good informer for Portugal on security issues in the Eastern Europe, especially in the crisis issue that we observe on the territory of Ukraine," Silva said.
