MP Holub leaves BPP parliamentary faction

MP Vladyslav Holub has officially left the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko (BPP) parliamentary faction.

Vice Speaker Oksana Syroid announced this during today’s plenary sitting, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to the website of the Verkhovna Rada, there are 141 MPs in the BPP faction as of April 7.

Earlier, MP Vladyslav Holub said that he intended to withdraw from the BPP faction and planned to become an independent MP.

Also, Holub at a parliamentary sitting once stated he was intimidated and asked the law enforcement agencies to provide protection to him and his family.
