Trilateral Contact Group to meet today in Minsk

A sitting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) to settle the situation in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, is to take place today in Minsk.

Ukraine’s representative in the humanitarian subgroup and First Deputy Verkhovna Rada Chairman, Iryna Herashchenko, informed that the TCG will particularly discuss the issues of captives and soldiers missing in action.

According to Iryna Herashchenko, currently a total of 418 people are on a list of soldiers missing in action.

Earlier, ex-president of Ukraine and Ukraine’s representative in the Contact Group, Leonid Kuchma, stated that top priority issues at the sitting on March 29 would be the ceasefire and release of captives.
