European Parliament’s Committee today to consider visa-free travel regime for Ukraine

On Thursday, the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Freedoms, Justice and Internal Affairs will consider a draft resolution on including Ukraine on the list of third countries whose nationals are exempt from visa requirements.

This issue has been included on the agenda of today’s meeting of the committee, own Ukrinform correspondent reports from Brussels.

Then, according to the procedure, the draft resolution on abolishing visa requirements for Ukraininian citizens will be considered by the EU legislative body at a meeting on April 5.

After the final approval by the EU Council in May, the visa-free regime for Ukraine will come into force 20 days after its publication, what will take place in June.
