Klimkin urges the United States to continue providing military and technical aid to Ukraine

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin has highly appreciated the U.S. support for Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity.

This has been discussed during a meeting between Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and U.S. National Security Adviser Herbert Raymond McMaster in Washington, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.

Klimkin expressed hope that the experience gained by Lt. Gen. Herbert Raymond McMaster while studying Russia’s hybrid war strategy against our country was useful for understanding the challenges faced by Ukraine.

The minister has also noted the need for further deepening of Ukrainian-American cooperation in the field of security, which is of common interest.

The parties also discussed the agreements reached by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of the United States Donald Trump during their telephone conversation on February 5, as well as possibilities to continue in this course the dialogue with the U.S. administration at all levels.
