PM Groysman: Blockade in Donbas in Russia’s interests

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman says that the current blockade in Donbas is in the interests of the Russian Federation.

He stated this in a speech at the conference “Transformation ’17. What will reforms change in the lives of Ukrainians,” an Ukrinform correspondent reports

"Ukraine suffers from this blockade. This blockade directly or indirectly is in the interests of Russia. Today our task is to do everything so that to ensure we are not stopped on this way [of economic development],” said Groysman.

According to Groysman, some forces are trying to stop the economic development of Ukraine.

"As soon as we begin to rise from our knees and try to seriously move forward rapidly, artificial problems are created for us, including the blockade, which is absolutely artificially created,” the premier added.
