Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze discussed this with the European Commissioner in Brussels, the Governmental portal reports.

"Mr. Stylianides assured of the full EU’s support for Ukraine and the continued provision of the necessary assistance to the affected population. The Commissioner's visit to Ukraine in the near future may become another signal of support," the statement reads.

As noted, during the meeting the parties discussed the aggravated situation in Donbas in connection with the shelling of Avdiivka and surrounding areas, as well as the threat of a humanitarian disaster in the region.
