Russian aggression already killed 10,000 Ukrainians – Poroshenko

The war unleashed by the Kremlin against Ukraine has already killed 10,000 Ukrainians, both military and civilian.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko stated this during a joint press conference with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"During today's talks, we undoubtedly considered the issue of Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Russia launched the war against our country three years ago. This was has already killed 10,000 Ukrainians, civilian and military," he said.

The President stressed that this war still continues today. "For the last three days the militants shelled positions of our soldiers more than 250 times," he said.

"Today, the defense of Ukraine is the defense of the free world values," Poroshenko said.
