Hollande condemns annexation of Crimea, calling condition for lifting sanctions against Russia

France does not recognize the annexation of Crimea, and the lifting of sanctions against Russia is possible only after full implementation of the Minsk agreements.

French President Francois Hollande said this during his speech to the diplomatic corps, Ambassador of Ukraine to France Oleh Shamshur informed on Twitter.

"Francois Hollande has just concluded his speech to the diplomatic corps: France does not recognize the annexation of Crimea, and the sanctions will be lifted after the full implementation of the Minsk agreements," Shamshur wrote.

As known, at the end of last year Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel supported the extension of sanctions against Russia.
