Ankara not changes position on Ukraine in favor of Moscow - Turkish foreign minister

Cooperation with Russia is important for Turkey, but it does not suggest reviewing Ankara's position on conflicts in Georgia and Ukraine.

Head of the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said this at the IX Conference of Ambassadors in Ankara, Anadolu reports.

"We support the territorial integrity of Ukraine and Georgia. We do not recognize the annexation of Ukrainians lands," Cavusoglu said.

In addition to the position on Ukraine, the minister outlined the main issues of Turkish foreign policy. In particular, Cavusoglu stressed that Turkey supported the Geneva process on Syria and the fight against ISIS in northern Syria.
