President Poroshenko expresses condolences over terrorist attack in Turkey

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has expressed condolences to families of those killed in a terrorist attack in the Turkish city of Kayseri.

“Condemn a terrorist attack in Kayseri. Condolences to families of victims. We stand by Turkey. Terrorism is unjustifiable,” Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.

As reported, on Saturday morning, December 17, a car bomb hit a bus transporting off-duty military personnel near the campus of university in Kayseri. As a result of the blast, 13 people were killed and 48 were wounded.

According to the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey, there were no Ukrainian citizens among those killed or wounded as a result of the terrorist attack.
