Poroshenko: Ukraine counts on approval of UN special resolution on human rights violation in Crimea

President Petro Poroshenko expressed gratitude to Sweden, which is co-sponsor of the special resolution on the human rights violation in Crimea.

This has been reported by the press service of the Head of State.

“We hope that the reaction of the world community to the brutal violation of human rights in Crimea and the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia will be once again demonstrated tomorrow,” Poroshenko said at the joint press conference with Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven.

The Head of State is content that starting from January 1, 2017, Ukraine and Sweden will work side-by-side in the UN Security Council.
