President introduces new head of Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Chief Intelligence Directorate}

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has introduced Vasyl Burba as the new head of Chief Directorate of Intelligence of Defense Ministry of Ukraine, the president’s press service reports. 

President Poroshenko stressed that over the past two years, the work of the intelligence directorate improved significantly. He also noted drastic change in quality of information provided by the intelligence officers.

President Poroshenko drew special attention to the improvement of the level of interaction between intelligent agents and other security structures, as well as to the exchange of information with respective structures of Ukraine’s states-partners.

“I have no doubt that this appointment will give a new impetus to the activity of military intelligence of Ukraine,” Petro Poroshenko said.

The President also emphasized the importance of intensifying the work of intelligent agents to ensure the efficient activity of both Ukrainian military and diplomats.
