President Poroshenko to discuss Crimea, Donbas, visa-free regime during visit to Brussels

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will make a working visit to the EU institutions on October 19-20.

"President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will make a working visit to the EU institutions on October 19-20," the statement reads.

October 19, the EU-Ukraine high-level political consultations with the participation of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, President of the European Council Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz, and the members of the European Commission will be held in Brussels. The leaders of Ukraine and the EU institutions will discuss the situation in Donbas and Crimea, the progress of implementation of the Minsk agreements and prospects for imposing sanctions on Russia in response to its aggression against Ukraine. The meeting participants will also touch upon the progress in implementing reforms and ways to strengthen the EU support and will coordinate further steps for ratifying the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and granting visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
