Ukrainian community in Canada to gather this week for XXV Triennial Congress

The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) will hold XXV Triennial Congress of Ukrainian Canadians in the city of Regina, Saskatchewan, on September 29-October 2, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Paul Grod, National President of the UCC, a lot of issues will be put for consideration: Canada's foreign policy, events that followed after the Maidan protests, the pace of reforms, the assistance of Diaspora, international support for Ukraine, Ukrainian cultural affairs in Canada, science, education, and intergovernmental relations.

“We are very honoured that high-level delegations of senior government officials from Canada and Ukraine will be joining the leadership of the Ukrainian Canadian community in Regina for the XXV Congress. The Triennial Congress will set the future direction of the Ukrainian Canadian community, and the participation of these delegations will provide invaluable input to our deliberations,” the UCC national president said.
