Interior Ministry offers to transport participants in sacred procession by buses for safety reasons

Advisor to Ukraine’s Interior Minister Anton Herashchenko says that participants in the sacred procession organized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate have been offered to be transported by buses to the site of the religious service in Kyiv.

Herashchenko wrote this on his Facebook page.

“The Moscow Patriarchate representatives were offered to transport the participants of the sacred procession by buses and deliver them safely to the site of the religious service so that to prevent possible terror attacks on the way of procession. The National Police hopes for discretion of the Moscow Patriarchate representatives regarding the issues of providing safety to participants in the sacred procession,” he wrote.

Herashchenko explained that two replicas of explosive devices and two caches of F1 grenades with smoke flares were found at a roadside on the way of the sacred procession, which could pose a real threat to the participants in the sacred procession.
