U.S. Secretary of State Kerry: US, Germany, France jointly working on Ukrainian issue

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry discussed the Russian aggression in Eastern Europe and the progress of implementation of the Minsk agreements at the meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Washington on Thursday.

The U.S. Secretary of State said this during a joint press conference after the meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We are working very closely on full implementation of the Minsk agreements, where Germany and France are our leading delegations at the talks," Kerry informed about the content of talks with German colleague.

John Kerry stressed that the countries were trying to work closely together in order to fully achieve the purpose of restoration of the sovereignty of Ukraine, "which it deserves and needs."
