Ukrainian government waits for visa-free regime with EU in autumn

Ukrainian delegation headed by Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has received assurances that the EU is getting ready to make a decision on the abolition of visa regime in autumn.

Vice Prime Minister for European Integration Ivana Klympush-Tsyntsadze posted this on Facebook.

"At all the meetings, the representatives of the European Commission and the Council assured us there are no grounds for delaying the decision and there are no additional tasks that Ukraine must fulfil," she wrote.

As Klympush-Tsyntsadze noted, "the point is the EU procedures." "And I expect this process to be completed in September or October, we are looking forward to that," she said.
