Groysman: Donbas elections to be held after Russia implements Minsk agreements

Donbas elections will be held after Russia implements the Minsk agreements.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this at a briefing during his working visit to Germany, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"The elections should take place when there is absolute openness and ability to come and freely express the choice. If you look at what is happening in Donbas now by Russia and its fighters then you will see that we have 50 attacks every day from that side on our territories and our citizens. Therefore, it is very important that Russia begins to fulfill the Minsk agreements," Groysman said.

As a reminder, on June 27-28 Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman pays a working visit to Germany at the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
