Polish Foreign Minister: Sanctions against Russia should be extended for another six months

The economic sanctions against Russia should be extended for another six months at least.

Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski said this in Brussels, wpolityce.pl portal informs.

"Currently, there are no signs that Russia wants to fulfill the Minsk agreements. So, the sanctions should be automatically extended until the end of the year at least," Waszczykowski said.

The Polish Foreign Minister added that this view was shared by majority of the EU countries.

He said that the European Union would continue the discussion about the further sanctions against Russia and whether they would bring some result.
