Ukrainian Foreign Minister Klimkin to visit China

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin will pay a working visit to the People's Republic of China on April 27-28, according to his Facebook page.

"The program of the visit provides for talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, meeting with the Chinese top officials, as well as participation in the 5th Foreign Ministers' Meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA)," the post says.

A wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation, as well as topical issues on the international agenda will be discussed during the meetings and talks.

The international forum brings together the Asian continent and aims to strengthen ties and cooperation among Asian countries to ensure regional stability and security. Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Vietnam, Egypt, India, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey and Uzbekistan are among CICA members.
