Balcerowicz said former Interior Minister of Poland, former Sejm MP to join strategic advisors group in Ukraine

Former Interior Minister of Poland, former governor of Malopolska voivodship Jerzy Miller and a famous Polish journalist, former Sejm MP Miroslaw Czech will join the strategic advisory group in Ukraine on the recommendation given by co-chairs of the group, financier and Polish reformer Leszek Balcerowicz.

Balcerowicz told a press conference in Warsaw, Poland, Monday, the Ukrinform’s own correspondent in Poland informs.

"My deputy will become Mr. Jerzy Miller, who was my associate in 1997-2000. He is one of the most prominent officials on the state level," said Balcerowicz.

Another member of the group will be Miroslaw Czech, whom Balcerowicz referred to as a "live bridge" between Poland and Ukraine because he is ethnic Ukrainian.

He said Miller and Czech have already arrived in Ukraine and are acting according to an agreed plan.
