Ambassador Kuleba: Dutch referendum not to influence Ukraine’s EU integration vector

The results of a consultative referendum on the EU-Ukraine association agreement, which is to be held in the Netherlands tomorrow, will not stop the European integration of Ukraine.

Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-Large said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Regardless of the final decision of the government of the Netherlands, this, of course, will not stop the European integration of Ukraine. We continue to move forward because the European Union understands the principle importance for deepening cooperation with Ukraine,” he stressed.

According to Kuleba, this is the Dutch government that should take a decision on the results of the referendum that is to take place tomorrow.
