Groisman is the only premier nominee among candidates who can secure 226 votes - MP

The Poroshenko Bloc party MP Vadym Denysenko said that the only nominee for prime minister, who will be able to obtain at least 226 votes by legislators is Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Groisman.

The lawmaker made a statement at TV Channel 112, Ukrinform reports.

"I think what the media have written recently about Groisman’s appointment as premier are more or less realistic. Overall, I believe that as of today the only person who can receive 226 votes is Volodymyr Groisman," said Denysenko.

In addition, he said Groisman is currently the only nominee who in present time can make a difference, "take drastic steps" and implement "real reforms". As an examples of such activities the MP reminded about Groisman’s job performance as mayor of Vinnytsia city.
