Groysman: Ukraine needs 7-10 key changes, not 50-100 reforms

The Ukrainian government should focus on 7-10 systemic changes, but not the comprehensive implementation of 50-100 reforms, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Groysman has said.

“I believe that we should focus on bright-line tasks of systemic implementation in our country, but not deal with 50-100 various reforms that will give no qualitative result,” the speaker said via Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Groysman also stressed that these 10 top priority tasks should help solve problems in the state and should “100% correspond to Ukraine’s commitments undertaken in the international context”. In particular, according to him, this concerns the association agreement and cooperation with the IMF.
