Tusk confident EU visa regime for Georgia to be liberalized soon

The European Union anticipates liberalizing the visa regime for Georgian citizens a soon a possible.

President of the European Council Donald Tusk told reporters after his talks with Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili on Tuesday in Brussels, Belgium, the Ukrinform Brussels correspondent reports.

"Let me congratulate Georgia with significant reforms it implemented in the process. Georgia has fulfilled all criteria for visa liberalization action plan. Now the EU Council and the European Parliament have to bring this process to a successful conclusion," said Tusk.
