Bavarian PM wants to recognize Ukraine secure

Bavarian State Prime Minister Horst Seehofer (CSU) wants to expand the list of secure countries of origin of migrants. 

Seehofer named eleven countries, including Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia and Moldova, DW.de reports.

"Bavarian leadership suggested expanding the list of secure countries of origin of refugees by eleven countries. The Bavarian government sent the relevant statement to the Bundesrat. The Prime Minister of Bavaria and the leader of Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Social Union, Horst Seehofer announced this in Berlin," reads the article.

The day before, the leadership of the ruling coalition parties agreed to amend the list of secure countries by including Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia in it. Bavarian Prime Minister proposes to include also Bangladesh, Benin, Gambia, India, Mali, Mongolia, Nigeria, as well as Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
