NATO’s doors should remain open - Polish President

NATO’s doors should remain open to close allies, Polish President Andrzej Duda says.

“If we are speaking about summit [of NATO in Warsaw in July], then we should observe that there is a clear and understandable signal that doors to NATO remain open,” Duda said at a joint briefing with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to him, close NATO allies should take part in Warsaw summit, and a part of them in the future may become members of the alliance. In particular, he named Sweden, Finland, Georgia, Australia, and Jordan.

“In the context of summit and the architecture of security we should not forget about Moldova and Ukraine,” Duda noted.
