Poroshenko tells PM of Denmark about ATO, reforms

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with Prime Minister of Denmark Lars Lokke Rasmussen in Paris.

"The Head of State thanked the Head of Government of Denmark for the consistent support of its state for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The President informed the Prime Minister about the progress of the Minsk Agreements implementation, the non-compliance with the ceasefire in Donbas by the militants, as well as about the progress of Ukraine on the path of implementation of the democratic reforms,” reads the statement.

The parties warned the international community against underestimating the threat to international security and stability posed by the Russian aggression against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The parties noted the need to prolong the sanctions against Russia till the full implementation of the Minsk peace accords.

The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Denmark agreed to continue developing cooperation in the energy sector. Petro Poroshenko invited Lars Lokke Rasmussen to visit Ukraine.
