Security Service stops diesel locomotive carrying foodstuffs for terrorists

Officers of the Ukrainian Security Service have suppressed the attempts of illegal border-line crossing and food deliveries in the territory of self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). 

The press service of the Security Service reported.

“The Ukrainian Security Service together with the Sate Fiscal Service and border guards at Kostiantynivka checkpoint discovered a diesel locomotive going to the territory of the so-called DPR and carrying foodstuffs, the overall cost of which is amounted at UAH 200,000,” reads the report.

Also, at Berezove checkpoint in Volnovakha district, special service officers stopped an off-road vehicle car. Its driver was trying to illegally cross the border line, carrying almost a tonne of meat.

In addition, near the village of Kodyma in Artemivsky district, the law enforcement officers detained the driver of a truck that tried to smuggle a batch of frozen meat, the cost of which is estimated at UAH 150,000.

The investigation is underway.
