Poroshenko holds telephone conversation with Dutch PM

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte discussed findings of the technical investigation into Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 crash.

The telephone conversation took place on Tuesday, the President’s press office informs.

"Poroshenko noted that completion and publication of findings of the technical investigation are the important step on the way to find and bring to justice all the perpetrators of this terrible crime," reads the statement.

The President has also emphasized the necessity of developing and introducing new requirements of the ICAO on measures to be done in cases of “hybrid” war, annexation of territories and related terrorist activity.

The parties discussed further joint actions on the establishment of effective mechanism for bringing to justice the perpetrators of the MH-17 tragedy.

Petro Poroshenko and Mark Rutte also shared views regarding topical issues of bilateral agenda, particularly future contacts at the highest level and ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.

The Prime Minister of the Netherlands pledged the readiness to continue to support Ukraine in protecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
