Hydrometeorological Center forecasts thunderstorms across Ukraine on Tuesday

On May 19 Ukraine will experience partly cloudy weather with clear intervals. At night, short-term rain is expected in some areas, while during the day brief rain showers and thunderstorms are forecast nationwide.

According to Ukrinform, the weather service stated this on Facebook.

During the daytime, southern and most central regions may also see hail and wind squalls reaching 15–20 meters per second. Winds will be predominantly northwesterly at 5–10 meters per second.

Nighttime temperatures across most of the country are expected to range from 11°C to 16°C, while daytime temperatures will reach 21°C to 26°C. In eastern and northeastern regions, temperatures may rise to 29°C. In western regions, temperatures will range from 7°C to 12°C at night and from 18°C to 23°C during the day.

In Kyiv and the surrounding Kyiv region, forecasters predict partly cloudy weather with brief rain and thunderstorms, especially in some areas overnight. Northwestern winds are expected at 5–10 meters per second.

Temperatures in the Kyiv region will range from 11°C to 16°C at night and from 21°C to 26°C during the day. In Kyiv itself, temperatures are forecast at 14°C to 16°C overnight and 23°C to 25°C during the daytime.
