Darnytska CHP in Kyiv temporarily suspends operations following Russian attack

Kyiv's Darnytska CHP (CHP-4) has temporarily halted service provision.

According to Ukrinform, the Euro-Reconstruction LLC company stated this on its website.

"Euro-Reconstruction LLC informs that as a result of another enemy attack on the city's energy infrastructure, service provision has been temporarily suspended," the statement reads.

Currently, the company's specialists, together with the relevant services, are conducting comprehensive technical inspections and necessary restoration measures. The company emphasized that the extent of the damage requires phased technological solutions and careful equipment checks before the heating system can resume operations.

As Ukrinform reported, overnight on February 3, the enemy carried out the most powerful strike on Ukraine's energy sector since the beginning of 2026.
