They were not convicted yesterday - it is repeated today: 78th anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people

On May 16, at 1 pm, a press conference will be held on the topic: "They were not convicted yesterday - it is repeated today", dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.

Participants: Eskender Bariev - Chairman of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, Chairman of the Department of Legal Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people; Tetyana Podvornyak - Communications Manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center; Liudmyla Korotkikh - manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center; Refat Chubarov - Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

Short. During the press conference, the speakers will remind Ukrainian society of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people - the deportation of 1944. Experts will also draw parallels with the current events of 2022, when Russia actually continues the practice of the Soviet Union and commits genocide against the entire Ukrainian people.

During the event, participants will present visual and informational products prepared by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center for the 78th anniversary of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people as part of the #LIBERATECRIMEA information campaign and inform about events dedicated to this date around the world.

The format of the event is offline (Hall 2).
