Crimean Tatars celebrate the Flag Day in Kyiv

On the occasion of the Day of the Crimean Tatar National Flag, marked on June 26, the march at Khreschatyk and the rally on Maidan (Independence Square) were held.

The Crimean Tatars, including Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, released political prisoners Ilmi Umerov and Akhtem Chiygoz, unfolded a huge blue flag.
