Ukraine Central Election Commission releases official voter participation rate

The voter turnout in the local elections that took place on October 25 totaled 46.62%.

The data were published on the CEC website.

Leaders in the voter participation were the Ternopil (56.50%) and Lviv regions (56.31%). More than half of voters came to the polling stations also in the Volyn, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and Khmelnytsky regions.

In the capital of Kyiv, 41.87% of voters cast their votes.

The lowest voter participation, as it was expected, was recorded in the Donetsk  (31.65%) and Luhansk (35.27%) regions.
