Passenger bus turns over in Ivano-Frankivsk region: One killed, eight injured
A passenger bus has turned over in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. As a result of the road traffic accident, one person was killed, and eight others were injured.
This was reported by the Ivano-Frankivsk regional police on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“On December 28 at around 13:00, a road traffic accident involving a passenger bus occurred in the village of Rakiv, Broshniv-Osada territorial community. As a result of the crash, one person was killed. As of 14:30, eight injured persons were reported; they sustained bodily injuries of varying severity and were taken to medical facilities,” the statement said.
An investigation and operation police team, rescuers, and medics are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances and causes of the road traffic accident.
Police urge drivers to remain attentive on the roads.
As reported by Ukrinform, five Ukrainians were reportedly killed in a road traffic accident in Poland.
