Sumy is partially without power due to accident, water is supplied according to schedule
Sumy and part of the Sumy district are partially without power due to an accident, trolleybus service has been suspended, and water is being supplied according to schedule.
The accident, which occurred after 10:00 a.m. on December 10, was reported by Sumyoblenergo JSC, according to Ukrinform.
“Anyone who has lost power in Sumy outside of the scheduled hourly outages is experiencing an emergency. Power engineers are working to restore power! An emergency outage has also been reported in part of the Sumy district,” Sumyoblenergo JSC reported.
Due to the power outage, trolleybus service in Sumy has been suspended, according to the municipal enterprise Elektroavtotrans. Later, utility workers reported a gradual restoration of service.
In addition, since 10 a.m., the facilities of the municipal enterprise Miskvodokanal have been without power, according to a statement from the company's press service.
As reported by Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of the Sumy region extinguished a fire at an infrastructure facility that was hit by a Russian combat drone at night.
