State Emergency Service: 15 people killed in helicopter crash in Brovary

As of 11:00, 15 people, including three children, were killed in a helicopter crash in Brovary town, Kyiv region.

"There were nine people on board: six members of the operative group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as three crewmembers of the State Emergency Service. According to the State Emergency Service data, 15 people, including three children, were killed in the emergency as of 11:00," the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

Twenty-five injured people (15 adults and 10 children) were hospitalized (information is being clarified). A total of 127 people and 30 pieces of equipment are involved in the liquidation of the consequences of the emergency.

As reported, a helicopter crashed near a kindergarten and a residential building in Brovary town, Kyiv region, on Wednesday. Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevheniy Yenin, and State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuriy Lubkovych were killed in the crash.
