Over 100 towns and villages in Ukraine left without electricity due to bad weather

Bad weather conditions have left 109 towns and villages in six regions of Ukraine without electricity, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

"As of 7 a.m. on June 28, bad weather conditions (gusts of wind, rain, and thunderstorm) caused blackouts in 109 settlements in six regions, in particular: Sumy region – 37, Dnipropetrovsk region – 33, Donetsk region – 13, Zaporizhzhia region – 12, Kyiv region – 7, and Chernihiv region – 7," the report reads.

Emergency teams of regional power distribution companies have been involved in the restoration of power supply.
