Over 100 towns and villages in Ukraine still without electricity due to bad weather

As of Saturday morning, January 30, some 108 towns and villages in two regions of Ukraine were still without electricity due to bad weather conditions, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

"Adverse weather conditions (rain and snow mixed, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 108 settlements in two regions, in particular: Odesa region – 75 and Mykolaiv region – 33,” the report reads.

Emergency response teams of regional power distribution companies were involved in the restoration of power supply.
