Avalanche risk expected in mountainous areas of Ivano-Frankivsk region due to thaw

On April 22-23, considerable avalanche danger is expected in Ukraine’s Carpathian mountains.

The State Emergency Service reported this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center's forecasts.

“On April 22-23, considerable (3) level of avalanche risk is expected in the mountainous areas of Ivano-Frankivsk region due to thaw,” the report says.
